Your deep understanding of the ASEAN market—particularly in Malaysia—positions you as a trusted advisor to multinational corporations, captives, OEMs, and system integrators. You are adept at navigating complex sales cycles and have a consultative approach that builds lasting relationships with customer leadership. You embrace new technologies, including simulation, CAD, PLM, IoT, Digital Twin, ML/AI, and VR, and are eager to leverage these to deliver innovative solutions tailored to your clients’ needs. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing and executing business transformation plans for key global and multinational accounts across the ASEAN region.
  • Prospecting for new business opportunities within defined territories and maintaining a robust sales pipeline to meet revenue goals.
  • Serving as a challenger seller and trusted advisor to customer leadership, providing strategic insights and innovative solutions.
  • Accurately forecasting annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams to support business planning and growth.
  • Collaborating with marketing and technical teams to implement Account Based Marketing programs and drive customer engagement.
  • Managing account receivables in alignment with Synopsys’ standard payment terms and ensuring timely collections.
  • Adhering to business ethics and Synopsys’ values, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Traveling up to 50% to customer sites across Malaysia and the broader ASEAN region to build relationships and drive sales initiatives.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution; Engineering or Engg+MBA is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales, strategic account management, or enterprise account management.
  • Demonstrated success in selling simulation, CAD, PLM, manufacturing solutions, or platform technologies (IoT/Digital Twin/ML/AI/VR).
  • Expertise in account development strategies, including farming and hunting for new opportunities.
  • Experience managing enterprise accounts across MNCs, captives, OEMs, and large system integrators.
  • Familiarity with the ASEAN market; knowledge of semiconductor or electronics or high-tech sectors is a plus.
  • Ability to drive Account Based Marketing programs and leverage social media for prospecting.
