Kardex Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Korean speaker to join our Finance Team in the role of Finance Executive, to be based in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. This is a 6-month Short Term contract position, which reports to the Director Finance & Admin in Korea. Position may be converted to permanent.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As Finance Executive, your role is responsible for the transactions and activities related to AP, AR, GL and month end reporting preparation of the sales and service business in Korea. This role is part of the Finance and Admin Team and will collaborate strongly with New Business and Life Cycle teams in Korea.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the month end closing within the stipulated deadline.
- Responsible for data entry, AP, AR, GL, Bank Reconciliation, etc.
- Prepare accounting-related reports, summaries and reconciliation.
- Prepare inter-company transactions.
- Maintain digital and physical financial records.
- Perform collection activities, issue AR reminders and related credit control tasks, monitor AR bad debts and prepare AR reporting.
- Process staff reimbursement/claims, commission, payroll preparation including all superannuation contribution.
- Assist liaison with outsourced service vendors including but not limited to monthly accounting, tax reporting, payments, receipts, bank and cash.
- Run errands related to government agencies, banks, company secretaries, tax agents, auditors
- Prepare documents and materials for audit and tax purposes.
- Ensure proper documentation and filling system.
- Other assignments to be assigned on an ad-hoc basis.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Diploma/Certificate in Accounting.
- Work Experience:
- Min 5 years’ experience in finance and office administration of a small office setup.
- SAP/ERP knowledge is beneficial, but not essential
- Microsoft office suite knowledge including OneNote
- Comprehensive MS Office 365 suite user knowledge
- Language: Korean – fluent (both spoken and written), English – intermediate (business communication ability is required)
