Job Responsibilities

• Support daily moulding production activities to ensure smooth operation and achieve production targets.
• Monitor and optimize injection moulding processes to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Perform machine setup, process parameter adjustment, and troubleshooting for moulding machines.
• Analyze and resolve moulding defects such as short shot, flash, sink mark, warpage, burn mark, and dimensional issues.
• Coordinate new product trial, mould qualification, and process validation activities.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Tooling, Maintenance, and NPI teams to ensure product quality and process stability.
• Develop and maintain process documentation including setup sheets, work instructions, and parameter records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and yield improvement.
• Monitor machine performance, process capability, and production efficiency.
• Assist in preventive maintenance planning and mould troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation for production issues.
• Participate in engineering change implementation and process improvement projects.
• Train technicians and operators on proper moulding process and machine operation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in plastic injection moulding or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes, materials, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiar with moulding machines, robots, hot runner systems, and auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to analyze moulding defects and implement corrective actions.
• Knowledge of process optimization, cycle time improvement, and lean manufacturing practices.
• Familiar with engineering drawings, dimensional measurement, and quality standards.
• Experience in DOE, PFMEA, SPC, 8D, and problem-solving methodologies is an added advantage.
• Good communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
