Job Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from prototype stage through mass production.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, Process Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Production, and Customers to ensure smooth product launch.
• Review product design, BOM, specifications, and manufacturing requirements for manufacturability and process readiness.
• Develop and manage NPI project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Drive pilot build, engineering build, trial run, and qualification activities.
• Monitor product transfer from development to production and ensure successful ramp-up.
• Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation such as SOP, work instructions, process flow, control plan, and PFMEA.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during product introduction and production ramp.
• Work closely with customers on engineering changes, product requirements, and issue resolution.
• Support yield improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and safety regulations.
• Conduct risk assessment and implement corrective/preventive actions for NPI-related issues.
• Support supplier qualification and material readiness for new product launch.
• Provide regular project status updates to management and stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in NPI, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or project engineering.
• Experience in product transfer, mass production ramp-up, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and engineering documentation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOM, and technical specifications.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949 standards is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
