Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage departmental operating budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of retail/outlet operations' strategies and plans to achieve sales target for assigned business/territories
  • Develop and monitor the achievement of key performance indicators, including the communication of sales targets. Conduct regular reviews to improve performance and inform development areas
  • Lead and monitor progress of sales activities, including adequate stock, proper pricing structures, promotional campaigns, planogram implementation, etc.
  • Highlight critical findings based on customer feedback and collaborate with functions on value-adding actions. Implement new retail/outlet innovations based on changing consumer behavior and requirements
  • Develop and manage implementation of loss-prevention policies and plans to deal with inventory shrinkage at the outlets/stores
  • Manage reporting of sales/stock movements (including NOC and PI) and projected sales/margin forecasts. Track and highlight unusual increases/decreases in customer demand.
  • Manage continuous improvement of retail/outlet sales processes and customer issue resolution. Manage/conduct training on customer service and backroom operations to enhance retail excellence
  • Develop and build relationships with suppliers/customers to achieve business objectives
  • Manage and oversee team’s delivery of team/function goals to drive execution against goals set
  • Drive and manage learning and development of team in the area of Retail/Outlet Operations and DKSH behavior to achieve team/function goals
  • Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Retail/Outlet Operations and DKSH behavior as part of continuous learning


Job Requirements
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers
  • Proven track record in the management of retail operations
  • Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Degree or professional qualification in Business Studies/Marketing/Economics or a related discipline
  • Minimum three to five years’ experience in a similar role
  • Minimum two to three years’ experience in a managerial capacity
