RESPONSIBILITY 1:

MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY: Develop, enrich, and take care of human capital

  • Embody and bring to life the Purpose, Values, the 8 human fundamentals within the team

  • Define a target human organization that is suited to the current and future challenges of my activity

  • Recruit and onboard complementary talents, both internal and external, without compromising on our essential criteria

    RESPONSIBILITY 2:

    I plan and lead my business unit’s economical and extra-financial value creation

    • I understand and explain how corporate and financial strategies build on each other to create shareholder value.

    • I guarantee sustainable economical and extra-financial value creation and preservation by measuring, monitoring and driving the actions and trade-offs needed to improve and balance Profit / Environmental and Human / Social performances in interactions with all stakeholders. 

    • I guarantee that the value created by my business is shared fairly between the long-term key stakeholders in my ecosystem:  customers, suppliers, team mates, government, shareholders, society…

    • I play a leading role in analysing the main growth and profitability levers.

    • I understand, assess, compare and connect business models to all relevant capitals (including offer and customers) and identify key value drivers within the organisation, value creation opportunities and value capture/sharing opportunities. I also assess and report potential multi-capital value destruction. 

    • I co-validate long-term targets and I draft multiple scenario planning. 

    • I explain new KPI trees (e.g. Sales Equation, Margin) and value creation mechanisms to business leaders.

    • I provide metrics with business narratives (e.g. Customer Lifetime Value) to ensure teams understand both the KPI and the next steps to improve performance.

    • I help transform the business by identifying, understanding and facilitating innovation and the opportunities presented by new technologies and market dynamics. 

    • I work with the data analytics function (local or global) to identify and capture useful data, maximise its value and to generate insights by proposing use cases to 

    • make impactful data-driven decisions (business steering) 

    • drive predictive models 

    • assess existing business models and test new ones. 

    • I co-lead the indirect purchasing function and process in order to deliver the targeted gains with the support of the United procurement team, including applying the local payment terms policy and optimising the pool of vendors.

    • I actively monitor the business unit’s balance sheet in order to 

    • unlock and maximise the Free Cash Flow related to usual business operations (stock, AP, AR, bank accounts),

    • propose balance sheet optimisation (equity/borrowing) and fixed assets liquidation opportunities in order to unlock hidden/dormant value.

    • I assist vertical business units (sports, value chain, real estate, Tech, alliances, SWO, etc…) in the implementation of their global strategies in my perimeter and I provide local market knowledge.

      RESPONSIBILITY 3:

      I act as a transformative catalyst and enabler in order to strike the right balance between an ever stronger legacy business model, future development and sustainability

      • As a transformative catalyst, I am at the centre of my business unit’s strategic management.

      • I facilitate a common and unifying perspective on the organisation’s 

      • strategic objectives, opportunities and threats

      • business models’ critical success factors (resources, capabilities and competences needed in relation to changing business circumstances and environmental factors and trends). 

      • I allocate and control human and financial resources dynamically between BUs and in connection with the group’s directives to accelerate the digital and circular business models.

      • I develop and support new business models (digital, circular, marketplace, etc…) in their market positioning, marketing and pricing strategy.

        RESPONSIBILITY 4:

        I guarantee reliable financial and extra-financial data, tax statements, regulatory/compliance frameworks 

        • As an effective board member and legal representative, I balance performance and compliance requirements. 

        • I guarantee reliable and timely financial statements and non-financial data (e.g. carbon accounting, social and human impacts) for internal and external users in compliance with group and local tax, accounting, treasury and legal rules & regulations.

        • I manage the relationship with the local and group auditors and I guarantee timely and low-risk audit results.

        • I manage specifically the end-to-end VAT, transfer pricing and tax process, while building the adapted relationship with my local tax authorities.

        • I guarantee that the local business decisions are compliant with the group’s international obligations in terms of:

        • Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence (CSDD)

        • Non Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD)

        • Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

          RESPONSIBILITY 5:

           I perform risks management duties 

          • I implement strict Risk Management and Internal Control policies and responsibility frameworks that support the organisation in achieving its objectives, and monitoring the risks. 

          • I control my compliance level thanks to the annual Autodiag campaign.

          • When applicable, I manage the legal function covering insurance, contracts, corporate governance, intellectual property, commercial law, compliance and GDPR.

          • I apply the Power of Attorney, contractual governance (delegation of legal and financial commitment) and related invoice and payment approval approval in the corporate tools.

          • I perform regular quantified business risk management assessments in the fields of supply/availability, customs, competition, regulation, HR & skills, credit risk, environment, data privacy, etc… 

            RESPONSIBILITY 6:

            I implement global corporate/financial strategies and transformation projects in my business unit

            • I am the local stewart of the company’s  financial strategies. I understand, explain and implement them locally.

            • I contribute to the global finance project by increasing the finance compliance and efficiency set with the corporate finance team for my business unit.

            • I  apply the corporate finance strategies such as 

            • mutualisation for accounting, FP&A and treasury, 

            • tools, process and data standardisation, 

            • accounting quality targets,

            • finance digitalisation with group tools, 

            • internal control reinforcement, 

            • working capital management, 

            • finance function efficiency and productivity

            • Etc…

            When necessary/requested, I contribute to group projects by sharing the local needs and expertise.

            RESPONSIBILITY 7:

            I drive my team to operational excellence and efficiency

            • I ensure the Finance & Legal function delivers proactive business partnering and serves as a role model in the areas of transparency, quality, efficiency, ethics and innovation.

            • I ensure the Finance & Legal function is highly adaptive and constantly works on increasing its efficiency.
