QUALIFICATIONS
Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or relevant professional qualification.
Experience: At least 5-8 years of working experience in software development and application support or DevOps preferably within the Banking or Financial service sector.
Knowledge: Secure SDLC, system analysis and design, database management and technically strong in all or some of this software: SQL, Oracle, Visual Studio, JAVA, .NET, IIS, Unix, Unix Shell Script Programming, MS SSRS, MS SSAS, MS SSIS, Apache, MS Sharepoint, IBM Websphere, CI/CD tools, Bitbucket, Test Automation tools, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/Ansible), Data models, taxonomies, metadata, API integrations, CMDB, Procurement cycles, Vendor performance governance.
Certifications:
- Preferred: ITIL v4 Foundation, DevOps/Cloud certifications (i.e: Azure DevOps, AWS DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes/CKA/SAFe DevOps)/DCA)
- Nice to have: CompTIA Security+ / CISSP Associate

- DevOps & Automation: CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/Ansible), Git, Jenkins/GitLab/Azure DevOps, Python/Bash, Docker/containers

- Platform Engineering: Environment standardization, golden paths, policy‑as‑code
- Data & Integration: Schema/versioning, reconciliation, replay/recovery, dependency mapping
- Security & Controls: Hardening, secrets management, least‑privilege, auditability
- Resilience & Continuity: HA/failover, capacity planning, DR exercises and automation
- Commercial Acumen & Control: Negotiation, TCO/license optimization, evidence‑based approvals, use of procurement tooling, and data‑driven vendor performance management.
Key responsibilities and tasks that the role performs)
- Own end‑to‑end availability, reliability, performance, and disaster‑recovery readiness for mission‑critical Treasury & Money Market systems (payments, settlement, depository, clearing, capital markets), ensuring maximum uptime, minimal business disruption, and optimal response times in line with stakeholder expectations and international best practices.
- Strengthen operational resilience by monitoring batches and interfaces, driving rapid incident resolution, root‑cause elimination, and continuous performance optimization.
- Partner closely with Treasury, Operations, Risk, Finance, Infrastructure, and vendors to ensure seamless front‑to‑back service delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, and continuous service improvement.
- Manage end‑to‑end vendor management (contracts, procurement, invoicing, SLAs/OLAs) to ensure compliant delivery, cost control, and continuous service improvement across Findur & Money Market applications.
- Support the design and implementation of a centralized application inventory and data taxonomy, enhancing system visibility, governance, and alignment across Treasury & Money Market applications.
- Drive continuous systems and process improvement by benchmarking against international standards, adopting best‑practice models, and ensuring alignment with guidelines and stakeholder expectations.
- Provide value‑added IT advisory and solution enablement, translating current and future stakeholder needs into secure, compliant, and effective IT solutions across payments, settlement, depository, clearing, and capital market domains.
- Contribute to agile delivery by rotating across development, operations, product management, and project implementation functions, actively supporting agile and DevOps initiatives to accelerate safe, high‑quality change.
- Ensure continuous technology awareness by engaging industry experts and researching emerging tools to inform platform enhancements and IT service improvements.
