Corporate Planning Team

Planning team plays a critical role in driving and implementing strategic plans to support MOHH’s long term goal of a Singapore where everyone is assured of valued-based healthcare. The team helps to ensure strategic alignment with national priorities through board and leadership engagement, development and review of strategic map and workplan, as well as performance monitoring across MOHH teams. The team also supports the larger public healthcare through strengthening governance structures and facilitating alignment across stakeholders, including MOH, clusters and key partners.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous professional to join our growing team. In the role you will support in the shaping of strategic direction and alignment of key priorities and initiatives across MOHH. The team is responsible for driving corporate clarity and governance, facilitating both internal and external stakeholder engagement, and overseeing corporate performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning

  • Work with the Director to guide a team of 2-3 officers in driving the overall strategic planning for MOHH including development and review of longer-term strategic map and short term workplan, advising on the principles and prioritisation of key initiatives to balance between organisation, MOH and sector needs
  • Work with internal stakeholders to set up the corporate performance management framework, including working with stakeholders to standardise the outcome and performance measurements.
  • Play a central integrator role in the management of cross divisional collaborations
  • Support MOHH senior management in strengthening the governance structures and relationship within the public healthcare system as well as with MOH.


Stakeholders Relations

  • Support the building of strong relationships internally and externally to ensure stakeholders confidence in MOHH. Help to establish, standardise and employ industry best practices to effectively manage relations with key stakeholders (e.g. MOH, clusters, key partners) via meetings and engagement sessions
  • Strategise and develop compelling content to communicate MOHH’s key messages through various platforms and channels


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, Public Policy, Economics or related field, with a strong and practical understanding of the healthcare sector
  • Preferably at least 5-7 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong understanding of national priorities and policy thinking to help shape and integrate different parts of the ecosystem
  • Proactive and able to take initiative in driving work forward
  • Experience in strategic planning or related work is an advantage
  • Experience guiding or managing officers and/or working with Ministries (e.g., MOH) would be beneficial
  • Ability to engage stakeholders effectively, anticipate issues, and plan ahead
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
