The Role
This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused exclusively on external recruitment marketing and talent attraction.
You will own DayOne’s top-of-funnel talent engine — building awareness across priority talent segments, driving qualified candidate leads, and optimising conversion from engagement to application.
This is a delivery and performance role — accountable for awareness growth, social engagement, cost-efficient lead generation, and measurable pipeline impact.
What You’ll Own
External Talent Awareness & Segment Strategy
- Define and maintain priority external talent segments globally.
- Translate the EVP into clear, differentiated messaging tailored to each segment.
- Develop personas to guide channel strategy, creative approach, and targeting.
- Build sustained awareness in target markets through consistent external campaigns.
- Use talent market insight to influence campaign focus and investment decisions.
Social & Digital Channel Execution
Own Execution Across External Recruitment Marketing Channels, Including
- LinkedIn (organic and paid campaigns)
- Targeted social platforms relevant to segment
- Google Ads / search campaigns
- Digital display and retargeting
- Campus and early-career external campaigns
Deliver End-to-end Campaign Management
- Creative brief and content production
- Audience targeting
- Budget allocation
- Launch and performance tracking
- Optimisation cycles
Ensure clear hand-off from marketing engagement into candidate application pathways.
EVP Activation (External Only)
- Activate the EVP consistently across external-facing materials:
- Careers site content
- Job advertisements
- Social campaigns
- Paid media creative
- Ensure messaging drives differentiation and relevance for each talent segment.
- Maintain consistency between campaign messaging and candidate journey entry points.
Conversion & Funnel Performance
Own Top-of-funnel And Early-funnel Performance Metrics, Including
- Reach and brand awareness growth
- Engagement rate and CTR
- Cost per click (CPC)
- Cost per qualified lead
- Application conversion rate
- Source performance by segment
- Talent community growth
Embed Structured A/B Testing Across
- Messaging
- Creative formats
- Audience targeting
- Landing page optimisation
Continuously optimise based on performance — stop, scale or pivot campaigns based on data.
Insight & Performance Reporting
- Produce clear, concise reporting for TA leadership on:
- Channel effectiveness
- ROI by campaign
- Cost efficiency
- Funnel conversion trends
- Translate campaign data into actionable recommendations.
- Provide market insight that supports hiring strategy decisions.
AI-Enabled Campaign Delivery
- Use AI tools to accelerate content production, campaign testing and insight generation.
- Improve speed and quality of visual and written recruitment marketing assets.
- Maintain quality control and brand integrity in all outputs.
Experience
What We’re Looking For
- 4–7 years’ experience in recruitment marketing or employer brand with strong digital execution.
- Demonstrated success running paid social and performance marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of segmentation, personas and funnel metrics.
- Experience optimising campaigns based on cost and conversion data.
- Comfortable working in a performance-led environment.
