Job Description:

We are seeking a committed and highly responsible Junior QS cum Drafting Assistant to support multiple ongoing construction and waterproofing projects. The candidate must be able to handle both quantity surveying and drafting responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with tight project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed quotations, costing, tender submissions, and material calculations

- Perform quantity take-off from drawings, site measurements, and actual site conditions

- Prepare progress claims, variation orders, and project cost tracking

- Prepare, revise, and update AutoCAD drawings and shop drawings independently

- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients

- Conduct regular site visits and inspections when required

- Monitor material usage, project progress, and work schedules

- Handle project documentation, filing, reports, and administrative coordination

- Assist in sourcing suppliers and negotiating quotations

- Support multiple projects simultaneously and meet submission deadlines

- Able to work beyond normal working hours when project schedules require

Requirements:

- Higher Nitec / Nitec / Diploma in Building, Construction, Engineering, Drafting, or related field preferred

- Minimum 1–2 years relevant working experience preferred

- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications

- Able to read construction drawings and perform quantity take-off independently

- Good coordination and communication skills

- Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure

- Willing to attend site inspections and handle outdoor/site environment

- Experience in construction or waterproofing industry will be an advantage.
