Project Technical Manager (System Focus)

Job Description:

• Work closely with the Project Manager and Engineers to support the fulfilment of contract obligations within agreed timelines, cost, and scope.
• Manage and oversee project documentation and subcontractor-related matters.
• Perform system setup and database configuration, resolve technical and design issues.
• Provide support for IT infrastructure, including Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
• Possess knowledge of network switches and the design of network devices within the project scope.
• Carry out installation, debugging, and troubleshooting of IT-related issues.
• Be hands-on in providing guidance and conducting knowledge transfer to site engineers.
• Oversee project teams and subcontractors effectively.
• Host, manage, and present project meetings.
• Report project progress to the Project Manager and follow up on software development and site installation works.

Job Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal skills with good organisational and coordination abilities.
• Experience in Project Management, IT Management Systems deployment, or equivalent.
• Proficient in networking, SQL, and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge in the following areas:
• A. Cybersecurity
• B. SQL Management Studio applications and database table management
• C. Vulnerability assessment
• D. Software development concepts
• E. Setup and installation of access control systems (e.g. key management systems, CCTV, card readers, gantries)
• F. Project requirements and procedures
• Able to work independently and function well as a team player.
• Minimum of 7 years of system-related experience.
• Willing to travel between office and project sites.

• Position Type: STE Permanent Role
• Working Location: Alternates between STE office and project sites
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 18:00. May be required to work beyond standard hours and days depending on operational needs.
