JOB DESCRIPTION

Al Systems Architecture & Implementation

• Design, develop, and depicy end-to-end Al/Ml solutions across manufacturing, operations, and corporate functions.
• Architect and implement LLM-powered solutions: chatbots, document intelligence, and Al-assisted decision support systems.
• Build and maintain MLOps pipelines — model training. versioning, deployment, and performance monitoring-
• Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems integrating enterprise data sources (ERP, AS400, document repositories).
• Lead Al proof-of-concept. (POC) projects, evaluate Al platforms, and recommend production-grade solutions.
• Integrate Al capabilities into existing enterprise systems: JDE ERP, AspenTech, Olik, and web portals.
• Develop Al-driven analytics and predictive maintenance models for plant and industrial (OT) environments.
• Establish Al governance frameworks: responsible Al practices, data privacy compliance, model explainability, and bias mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify Al use cases and deliver scalable solutions.
• Conduct internal training and knowledge transfer on Al tools and capabilities.
• Monitor Al model performance post-deployment, retrain models as needed, and maintain model documentation.

Plant-Wide IT Infrastructure & Network Operations

• Administer Cisco Core Switches, VLANs, routing, and trunking.
• Manage Palo Alto Firewall policies, VPNs, and security monitoring,
• Ensure stable internet connectivity, DNS, and ISP coordination.
• Administer VMware Center, Proxmox virtualisation clusters, and Docker containers.
• Support Voice over IP (VolP) systems deployment and maintenance.

Enterprise & Industrial System Support

• Maintain and troubleshoot JDE ERP modules (Finance, Commercial, Operations).
• Administer and enhance Level 2 automation systems: Hitachi, ABB, ANDRITZ, Columbus.
• Manage AS400 / IBM iSeries: job scheduling, report generation, system health, and backup
• Maintain and troubleshoot MathModel applications used in production.
• Support and maintain Aspen Tech 2.1 systems in operations

Cloud, Directory & Containerised Services

• Administer Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OC) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Manage Active Directory structures, users, groups, and policies
• Support internal systems using Docker containers and Linux environments.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Develop and maintain dashboards in Olik Sense and NPrinting
• Generate advanced Excel reports using PowerQuery, pivot tables, and V/BA.
• Collaborate with departments to automate reporting and KPI tracking

User Support & Asset Management

• Provide first-level IT support to all office and plant users.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations and laptops.
• Track and manage IT hardware, licenses, and asset inventory.

Multimedia, Web & Digital Presence

• Create and edit internal videos and posters for communication and engagement.
• Support website and DNS administration, and assist with social media integration.

Special Projects & Executive Support

• Respond to management data/system requests and conduct technical investigations.
• Support internal/external audits (ISO, Cybersecurity)
• Contribute to digital transformation and process automation projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence.
• Postgraduate / Master's or Professional Certifications in Al, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Cybersecurity are an advantage (e.g. AWS ML Specialty, Google Professional ML Engineer, Azure Al Engineer).
• 5 to 10 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 3 years focused on Al/ML solution design and deployment.
• Proficiency in programming languages: Python, C#, 5QL, JavaScript, PHP, PL/SQL, and basic A5400 scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Al/ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers.
• Experience in LLM integration, prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system design.
• Experience designing and deploying Al/ML solutions on Oracle Cloud (OCI) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on experience with MLOps: model training, versioning, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and A5400 / IBM Series system administration.
• Experience with enterprise databases: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, AS400.
• Experience with application development - web, mobile, and cloud-based systems Incorporating Al capabilities.
• Hands-on experience in industrial Operational Technology (OT) environments.
• Familiarity with cyber security principles and Al-driven security incident response.
• Experience with project management methodologies and system implementation lifecycles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to explain Al concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approach.
• Attention to detail with commitment to quality and responsible Al practices
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, Al model cards, and end-user guides.
• Knowledge of Al governance, data privacy laws, and responsible Al frameworks.
• Accessible 24/7 for outage escalations and system recovery activities.
• Willingness to work flexible or off-hours for system stability, Al deployments, and major cutovers.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
