Position :Technical Writer

Salary : RM 3,500 - RM 6,000

Location : Imazium, Uptown Damansara

Working Days : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to produce clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for our software and technical products. This role works closely with engineering, product, and support teams to translate complex technical information into well-structured content for both technical and non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical documentation including user guides, SOPs, API documentation, installation manuals, release notes, and knowledge base articles
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather accurate technical information
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and structured documentation
• Review, edit, and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance
• Maintain documentation repositories, version control, and content organization systems
• Ensure all documentation adheres to internal style guides and quality standards
• Participate in product discussions, testing, and feature reviews to understand system functionality
• Continuously improve documentation processes, templates, and tools

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a software or IT environment
• Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for different user audiences
• Familiarity with software development concepts, APIs, and system documentation
• Basic understanding of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C# is an advantage
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
