Job Description

Responsibilities:

• To Adhere and enforce safety rules and procedures by adopting ensure established safety code and practices and regulatory requirements to all employees working in Safe & Sound environment.
• Monitor safe practices and work permits system and develop housekeeping program to maintain good safety, environment and housekeeping.
• Identify operations bottle-necking & improving process capabilities to maximize production output.
• Determine training program and manning requirement to improve technician skill and ensure adequate manpower for shift operations.
• Eliminate operational and equipment failure by evaluate unusual events and justify plant shutdown for corrective maintenance.
• Maintain and upgrade the Bulk/Utility/Finishing plant ISO9001 / ISO45001 / ISO14001 system.
• Sustain DCS software program through proper documentation and records, screen by MOC process for any permanent change in software program or hardware configuration.
• Maintain plant equipment by inspection with checklist and observe the adequacy of the preventive / predictive maintenance.
• Develop Monthly Production Schedule based on integration of Marketing need and availability of plant resources..
• Monitor day-to-day PP production performance versus the desired target and highlight to Marketing on any production delay.
• Identify deficiencies in production output, cost & quality and inform area owner to take corrective actions.
• Assist to develop manufacturing cost, production rate/costing by grade and update/review production reference data.
• Prepare monthly production report and conduct analysis on plant performance.
• To coordinate and generate actual usage of raw material, chemicals and utilities for “End of Month Closing Exercise” & Co-PC (Company Product Costing)” posting and complete on or before the stipulated time.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering Or Equivalent
• 0 - 3 years experience in a plant process (Petrochemical/chemical/oleochemical etc)
• Knowledge of chemical plant practices, unit operation & process control.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
