Position: Project Management Internship
Location: Skudai
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist marketing project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets for various marketing campaigns and initiatives
Support marketing project managers in project execution and tracking progress against timelines and budgets
Collaborate with marketing team members to ensure projects are aligned with overall marketing goals and objectives
Facilitate communication among project stakeholders and document project meetings and decisions
Assist in identifying and managing project risks, issues, and dependencies, particularly as they relate to marketing strategies and tactics
Develop project management tools and templates specific to marketing projects to improve project efficiency and effectiveness
Provide regular updates to marketing project managers and other stakeholders on project progress, particularly as it relates to marketing metrics and KPIs
Perform other duties as assigned by the marketing project manager or supervisor
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (e.g. Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools preferred, particularly as they relate to marketing projects
Understanding of marketing strategies and tactics preferred
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Availability to work full-time for the duration of the internship (typically 3-6 months)
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Strong interest in marketing and digital media
Experience with social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
Understanding of SEO best practices
Experience with graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed
Availability to work flexible hours when required
