The services required are set out as follows:
• Check to ensure that photographs received match the accompanying information from transferring agencies. • Create indexing records and craft photo captions based on key persons, places
and events in the images using prepared templates, and upload records for ingestion in the Archives Online system.
• Perform quality checks on indexed records and photo captions which have been created using prepared templates.
Verify that errors in records have been corrected and that amended records are uploaded to the indexing system in a timely manner.
• Ensure that records are created in accordance to indexing guidelines and there is a consistency of these standards across all records indexed.
Retrieve photos/CDs, upload them to shared folders and update the status of photos/CDs uploaded in the master list on a regular basis.
• * Record and monitor contents of uploaded photos/CDs with indexed records and highlight any discrepancy
