Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will lead sales growth and strategic partnerships for Agape’s contact centre and outsourcing solutions. The role requires someone who understands the BPO landscape, can engage decision-makers confidently, and is passionate about building long-term client relationships.
You will identify new business opportunities, develop sales strategies, pitch outsourcing solutions, and work closely with operations teams to ensure successful project implementation.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within:
- Customer Service
- Call Centre Operations
- Telemarketing
- Lead Generation
- Helpdesk Support
- Back Office Processing
- Digital Customer Experience
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key stakeholders.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, events, LinkedIn outreach, and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct client presentations, solution pitching, and proposal submissions.
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
Account Management
- Manage and grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and relationship retention.
- Act as the bridge between clients and operations teams.
Strategic Partnerships
- Develop partnerships with industry associations, SMEs, enterprises, and government-linked organisations.
- Explore regional expansion opportunities across Southeast Asia.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging outsourcing opportunities.
- Provide insights to management on market positioning and pricing strategies.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, HR, Training, and Marketing teams to ensure service excellence.
- Support tender submissions, RFP responses, and business presentations.
RequirementsQualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
- Minimum 3–5 years of business development or sales experience in:
- Contact Centre
- BPO
- Customer Experience (CX)
- Staffing / Outsourcing
- Corporate Services
- Strong network within corporate or SME sectors is an advantage.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and client acquisition.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Ability to understand operational workflows and client pain points.
- Comfortable engaging C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Regional business exposure is an advantage.
