MYFutureJobs Negeri Sembilan is assisting an established heavy industrial fabrication company in sourcing suitable candidates for a Pressure Vessel Fabrication Coordinator position based in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.

This role is involved in coordinating pressure vessel fabrication activities for oil & gas and heavy industrial projects, ensuring fabrication progress, quality, safety, and technical compliance throughout production stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily pressure vessel fabrication activities according to project schedules and technical requirements
• Monitor fabrication progress based on drawings, specifications, and client requirements
• Coordinate closely with production, welding, QA/QC, and engineering teams
• Ensure fabrication works comply with industrial codes, company procedures, and safety standards
• Assist in material planning, fabrication sequencing, and manpower coordination
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients regarding fabrication matters
• Monitor welding activities, dimensional accuracy, and fabrication quality during production
• Support inspection activities including fit-up inspection, hydrotest preparation, NDT coordination, and final inspections
• Prepare fabrication progress reports and project documentation for management review
• Participate in project coordination meetings and provide updates on fabrication progress and technical issues
• Ensure safe working practices and proper housekeeping within fabrication areas

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication, Welding, or related field
• Experience in pressure vessel fabrication, heavy industrial fabrication, oil & gas fabrication, or related industries
• Familiar with fabrication drawings, welding coordination, QA/QC processes, and pressure vessel manufacturing workflow
• Knowledge of industrial fabrication standards, inspection processes, and fabrication documentation
• Able to coordinate multiple departments and manage fabrication progress effectively
• Good communication and coordination skills
