Job Description

Responsibilities

Main Purpose:

A Payroll Specialist with experience in Dayforce (formerly Ceridian) is highly sought after for his/her ability to leverage a unified, continuous calculation engine. This specialist manages end-to-end payroll, including tax, benefits, and garnishments for Malaysia, Singapore and potentially to other countries within the Southeast Asia Region.


Core Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Processing: Manage the full payroll cycle in Dayforce, ensuring accurate gross-to-net calculations.
  • Data Accuracy & Auditing: Utilize Dayforce reports to perform audits, ensure data accuracy, and validate changes in real-time.
  • System Maintenance: Handle employee lifecycle transactions (onboarding, transfers, exits) and update employee records.
  • Compliance & Tax: Ensure payroll compliance with local statutory laws, tax regulations, and year-end reporting.
  • Query Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for employee/client queries regarding payroll.
  • Configuration: Execute minor configuration updates (PCR Lite) and manage workflows in Dayforce
  • Ad hoc task: Extend a hand in HR ad hoc task as and when possible.


Skills And Experience We Value

  • Fair understanding of outsourcing industry environment, especially Payroll Outsourcing
  • In-depth understanding of different components of Payroll and calculations
  • Good Knowledge of accounting & taxation; on salary income any of Southeast Asia countries payroll knowledge
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with
  • Analytical and Logical Skills
  • Client focus and customer sensitive service behaviour
  • Ability to work independently, with limited supervision, in a dynamic environment.
  • Min 2-3 years of relevant experience in payroll, preferably in an outsourcing environment or have managed large employees’ payroll in a multi-national company.
