Job Description

Responsibilities

Swiss-based Global provider of material handling and intralogistics solutions. The company supplies system integrators and manufacturers with a comprehensive portfolio of platform-based products and services including conveyor rollers, drives, conveyors & sorters, and pallet handling systems used to optimize material flow in warehouses, distribution centers, airports, e-commerce, and various industrial sectors.

The Job

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Applications Engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer-centricity.
  • Lead engineering and key operations to deliver tailored intralogistics solutions, support sales, and drive performance across the SG/MY/ID/PH.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to continuously strengthen the team's competencies and capabilities.

Engineering & Project Excellence

  • Oversee the conceptual engineering process, including solution layouts, design proposals, and technical project concepts.
  • Review and approve detailed mechanical designs, layout drawings, and Bills of Materials (BoM).
  • Design both standard and customized mechanical solutions for intralogistics applications.
  • Provide technical support to production and project teams during assembly and onsite installation.
  • Monitor and manage project timelines to ensure on-time delivery.

Commercial & Customer Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the Sales team to deliver technical expertise during pre-sales engagements and project discussions.
  • Ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into tailored, competitive technical proposals.
  • Oversee the RMA process for key accounts, identifying trends, resolving issues, and supporting customer retention and upselling initiatives.

Operational Management

  • Provide overall leadership across key operational functions, including Shipping & Ordering, Procurement, and IT coordination.
  • Supervise the Shipping & Supply Chain Executive to ensure accurate order processing, efficient shipment coordination, and alignment with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead the Operations Executive in managing procurement activities and basic IT coordination for the office and team.
  • Streamline and enhance operational workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service reliability.
  • Promote a continuous improvement mindset within the operations function to strengthen responsiveness and support business growth.

The Talent

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant experience.
  • Proficient in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and confidently to diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing small technical teams.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized and structured, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities across engineering and operational functions.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional development.
