Job Description

1) To implement IT system security in the organisation to ensure the safety of data and IT systems

2) To assist and oversee the organisation’s WAN/LAN System and Portal.

3) To maintain computer workstations, Projectors, Smart Boards, Printers, photocopiers and other IT equipment in the school.

4) To provide support for the staff and students in troubleshooting computer problems.

5) To assist in the proper storage of all company data and archiving of records and backups.

6) To ensure the smooth and efficient running of all IT systems in the organisation.

7) To handle and administrate all company email and management systems.

8) To keep the employees informed on the various technological changes that are taking place in the organisation.

9) To communicate with the IT Head regarding IT-related issues.

10) To identify new computer systems and trends in the market so that the organisation’s IT status is always at the forefront.

11) To help the standard local licensing requirements be met and fulfilled.

12) To keep track of and update the IT Equipment Listing.

13) To perform maintenance work every term break to ensure all equipment is in good condition for the new term.

14) To ensure teaching and learning equipment is maintained and upgraded for teaching.

15) To maintain and check CCTV and Door Access Systems daily and ensure all systems are functioning well. Assist the IT Head as and when needed.

16) To perform any other duties as instructed by the management from time to time, as and when required.
