Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day on-site activitiesand delegate tasks to construction workers and subcontractors.
- Orders materials and equipment andtakes care of the necessary permits.
- Accomplishes construction humanresource objectives by selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Assesses safety and finance goals.
- Manages sub-contractors by locating,evaluating, and selecting contractors.
- Meets operational standards bycontributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews.
- Meets construction budget bymonitoring project expenditures.
- Track project timelines, adjustschedules for delays, and manage the delivery and inventory of constructionmaterials.
- Provide regular updates to ProjectManagers and clients regarding site progress, budget, and any unforeseen issues
- Accomplishes construction projectresults by defining project purpose and scope.
- Approves construction projects byconducting inspections at critical phases.
- Prevents fines and work interruptionsby complying with, and enforcing, codes.
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthywork environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures.
