Must be able to work a rotating three-shift schedule.
1. Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
2. Registration of patients for out-patients and in-patients, review to ensure accuracy and completeness.
3. Performs day-to-day administrative functions and general officer duties including copying filling, faxing, answering phone calls and data entry.
4. Allocate patients to doctor as on call or requested by patient.
5. Liaison with insurance companies for approval if required.
6. To update consultants on insurance / GL status (e.g. Approved or Declined).
7. To follow up on elective admission approval.
8. Handle internal and external phone calls and all enquiries.
9. Statistics of in-patient and out-patient.
10. Carry out all other duties that may assign by the superior.
11. Provide patients full information about Admission Process, Explanation Letter of Undertaking, Upfront payment security deposit and personal data protection act 2010.
12. Handling upfront deposit from patients.
13. Provide support to cashier duties when required (such as collecting payments, issuing receipts and reconciling daily transactions) to help maintain smooth operations at the Front Office.
14. Perform these tasks on an as – needed basis and not as primary responsibility, reflecting that this role assists with cashier functions without additional cashier allowance or benefits.
15. Performs pre-admission counselling for patients.
16. Resolve patient complaints or issues promptly and efficiently.
Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
