At AURUM Theatre, fine dining meets world-class entertainment. We are seeking passionate and polished service professionals to deliver a truly luxurious guest experience in Malaysia’s most exclusive cinema environment.
As a Service Crew member, you will be responsible for:
Concession
- Greet customers at the concession counter; take and process food/beverage orders (popcorn, snacks, drinks, etc.) and operate the POS efficiently.
- Prepare and serve food and drinks safely and hygienically (popcorn, hot-food, beverages), maintain equipment such as popcorn machines, fryers, warmers, etc.
- Restock supplies (snacks, drinks, condiments, disposable items) and maintain inventory control to ensure concession stand is always ready for service.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately; reconcile cash drawer at end of shift; issue receipts, managepayment process.
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service — answer patron questions, suggest promotions or combos, and handle any complaints or feedback appropriately.
Floor & Hall
- Welcome and assist patrons: check tickets or passes, guide them to the correct hall/theater and seats, ensure correct showtime and seating are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all public areas — cinema halls, hallways, restrooms, common spaces before and after each screening.
- Monitor audience during screenings — help maintain order, enforce safety rules and house policies (e.g. no outside food, age-restriction compliance, crowd control), and assist any patrons needing help.
- Manage restocking of restroom supplies, lobby necessities (trash bins, hand-soap, paper supplies) and ensure all amenities are in working order — report maintenance issues/faulty equipment.
Event & Catering
- Support special events, restaurant/bar and cinema operations: help set up event spaces (furniture, seating, layout), serve food and drinks during events, coordinate between outlets (cinema, restaurant, bar, café) to ensure smooth guest experience across different service areas.
Here’s what we’re looking for from you:
- Possess SPM or equivalent qualification.
- 1 years of experience in the hospitality industry; fine dining experience is an advantage.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able and willing to work on weekend and shift hours.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 1 month
