OVERVIEW

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving room sales, corporate accounts, and revenue growth for the hotel. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets in line with company objectives.

THE JOBSCOPE

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve room and revenue targets.
  • Identify and secure new corporate, government, and travel agency accounts.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, site inspections, and client meetings.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and rate negotiations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Work closely with Revenue, Front Office, and Reservations teams.
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and business development activities.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality industry
  • Strong network in corporate and travel segments is an advantage
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Result-driven and able to work under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Willing to travel and work flexible hours if required
