JOB BRIEF

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Manager, Commercial. In this role, you will lead fruit collection operations with a primary focus on durian harvesting, domestic sales, and export logistics. You will be responsible for the strategic coordination of fruit collection, quality assurance, and supply chain efficiency while ensuring strict adherence to company SOPs and international export standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES, AUTHORITIES AND DUTIES

• Manage and execute independent travel to engage with vendors, clients, and durian farm holders across key regions including Jementah, Raub, Lojing, and Gua Musang
• Monitor fruit maturity cycles and implement rigorous quality control measures to record and verify collection volumes
• Determine and certify fruit grades to eliminate errors in selection and ensure inventory meets specific market requirements
• Maintain a strong on-site presence to oversee operational flow while coordinating with Headquarters for strategic reporting
• Analyze daily market price trends and competitor movements to provide benchmarking data for domestic and export pricing strategies
• Oversee the maintenance and renewal of GACC and MyGAP certifications to ensure uninterrupted market access to China
• Formulate comprehensive sales reports and maintain precise inventory records for executive review
• Direct and supervise plantation workers and operational staff to ensure the successful execution of commercial targets
• Manage vendor acquisition and logistics audits during non-harvesting periods to optimize the supply chain for future seasons
• Perform any other professional tasks as directed by the management to support business growth

QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field
• Possession of a valid driving license
• Willingness to travel extensively and relocate for outstation assignments as required
• Proven ability to work independently with high levels of integrity
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a result-oriented and proactive mindset
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills for high-level networking
• Ability to adapt and operate effectively in remote or rural environments
• Basic understanding of international trade compliance and export documentation
