Position: Project Coordinator

Duration: 2 year extendable


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum four (4) years of experience in a hands-on project management support role, assisting in the planning, execution, monitoring, and control of medium-to-large IT-related projects, with demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multiple project workstream concurrently.

Experience in investment or financial related projects or systems is an added advantage.

Basic understanding of project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile approaches, with the ability to follow the established project processes and templates.

Possess any project management foundation or professional certification related to the role (please list out).

Strong organizational and coordination skills, with high attention to detail and disciplined follow-up.

Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with project team members, vendors, and stakeholders.

Proficient in project and office productivity tools, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, collaboration platforms, and project tracking tools. Willing to be assigned to manage multiple projects concurrent

Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.


Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule project meetings, workshops, and discussions, including preparation of meeting invitations and logistics.

Prepare and circulate meeting agendas and minutes, and track follow-up actions items to closure.

Maintain and update project documentation, including project plans, trackers, registers, and shared repositories, in accordance with project standards.

Track task progress, milestones, and deliverables, and follow up with responsible parties on outstanding items.

Maintain project logs and registers, such issue logs, risk registers and decision trackers as directed.

Support preparation of project status reports and dashboards by compiling progress updates and relevant data.

Coordinate with internal teams and vendors on day-to-day project activities, information requests, and documentation requirements.

Provide logistical and administrative support for testing, deployment, and implementation activities as required.

Ensure project records are properly maintained to support audit, governance, and reporting requirements.

Escalate delays, gaps, or issues encountered during tracking or coordination activities to the Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager on time.

Maintain and grow professional competence through:

a) Participation in training programs, workshops, and technical courses

b) Reading technical and professional publications
