Envilab Sdn Bhd business provides advanced wastewater treatment chemicals and engineering solutions designed for seamless integration across water management, water and wastewater treatment, and industrial pollution control.

What's your daily work are like:

• Ensure daily laboratory operations comply with MS ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
• Assist superior to supervise subordinates in daily laboratory activities, ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability of all test results.
• Perform laboratory analysis, develop testing methods, and conduct instrument/ equipment/ apparatus calibration and verification.
• Conduct method verification, validation, measurement uncertainty for testing methods applied.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to analytical procedures, equipment performance and other laboratory-related matters.
• Monitor QC standards and address any deviation of non-conformities.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and contribute to continuous workflow optimisation initiatives.
• Ensure all analytical instrument, equipment and apparatus are properly maintained and calibrated according to the required schedule.
• Perform site visits and sampling activities when required.
• Assist in purchasing of laboratory consumables, chemicals and equipment.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior.

What background we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or equivalent academic qualification.
• Registered Chemist with IKM will be an added advantage.
• 1–2-year experience in environmental / food / analytical laboratory.
• Familiar with ICP, GC, UV, AAS or other analytical instrument.
• Able to work independently under a high-volume commercial laboratory environment with tight turnaround times.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good teamwork and communication skill.
• Upholds rigorous standards in laboratory safety and data integrity.
• Possess own transportation, and be willing to travel for work or sampling activities when required.
