Contract Duration: 1 Year (01 June 2026 – 31 May 2027)

Location: Chinatown

Working Arrangement: 5‑day work week (rostered across Monday to Sunday)

Salary: Up to $4,000 per month, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the library branch and work closely with the Library Head and Manager
• Supervise service staff handling shelving, shelf‑reading, customer enquiries, and backroom duties
• Ensure staff follow operational procedures, SOPs, and service guidelines
• Monitor service quality and consolidate feedback, compliments, and complaints
• Coordinate system issues, IT equipment upkeep, and building or facilities maintenance
• Support collection maintenance, shelving timelines, and follow‑up on damaged or missing items
• Assist with customer feedback, lost‑and‑found matters, and general enquiries
• Support safety procedures, incident handling, and participate in fire drills
• Assist with reporting, inventory management, and programme setup

Requirements

• Diploma in any discipline
• Experience in operations, customer service, facilities, or public‑facing environments preferred
• Comfortable working on a rostered schedule, including weekends
• Good communication and coordination skills
