Job Summary

The commercial Manager will lead the preparation, review, and management of project cost estimates and commercial submissions. This role ensures accurate, timely, and competitive bids while consolidating inputs from multiple stakeholders. The Estimation Manager plays a critical role in supporting tender strategy, risk management, and overall commercial decision-making for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for tenders and project proposals.
• Consolidate and validate inputs from engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure complete and accurate submissions.
• Analyze project costs and risks, providing recommendations for cost optimization and bid strategy.
• Develop and maintain estimation tools, templates, and historical cost databases.
• Review and approve estimates prepared by junior estimators, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Mentor and guide estimation team members to enhance overall team capability and efficiency.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in estimation, cost management, or commercial roles in construction, marine, or high-spec industrial projects.Strong technical knowledge in cost estimation, tendering, and project budgeting.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and high-pressure environments.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality outputs.
