Full Time Senior Network Engineer Jobs, Salary up to SGD 7,000 in SINGAPORE TELECOMMUNICATIONS LIMITED East Region (Singapore) - Maukerja

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate high-performance networking solutions.
• Provide operational support to meet customer expectations within defined SLAs, and implement preventive measures to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate on network security initiatives and implement cybersecurity best practices to maintain industry standards and certifications.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance network performance, and introduce automation to detect and resolve network issues.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver network solutions in a timely manner.
• Prepare, analyse, and present technical reports, including network optimisation plans, outage reports, and SLA reports.
• Support and troubleshoot issues in high-performance and distributed network environments.
• Conduct network benchmarking and stay updated with the latest networking technologies.
• Provide technical network support and guidance to users.
• This role may require availability outside standard working hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent certifications (including Linux).
• Experience in deploying and troubleshooting advanced network routing protocols such as VXLAN, EVPN, BGP.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLANs, and subnetting.
• Knowledge of network devices and operating systems such as Cumulus, Arista, Ubuntu, Proxmox, and Red Hat.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and automation tools such as Zabbix, NetBox, Ansible, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
