Summary

Develop, strategize, and manage the company’s service offerings, including air freight, sea freight, and overseas network/trade lane management, to support Sales in driving business growth. Ensure strong commitment, high performance, sustainability, customer satisfaction, and the delivery of solutions that meet customer expectations while achieving the company’s financial objectives. Support initiatives led by the Head of Freight Forwarding as required by business needs and operational circumstances.

Plan, organize, implement, and oversee overall operational and logistics activities effectively and efficiently to maximize resource utilization, ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the overall management of Air Freight, Sea Freight, Inland Transportation, and the Tradelane Network.
2. Develop and maintain good rapport with partners, authorities and service providers (airlines, GSA, shipping line, NVOCC, consolidators and vendor) via regular visits.
3. Manage day to day business operation activities to ensure commitment over agreed service level.
4. Last level of recovery in case of problem met by staffs / executive, responsible to prepare reports required by the management, ensure overheads are kept low, zero liabilities and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
5. Ensure adequate documentation procedures are maintained and approved procedures are followed in regards to operation, finance and administrative matters.
6. Supervise and provide control for the distribution of rate card to sales team.
7. Manage grievances, counselling, maintenance of discipline to ensure harmonious working environment in a unionized organization and ensure the policy and procedures of the company are implemented and adhered to.
8. Manage service providers and staffs to ensure operational, safety and services quality compliance.
9. Any other job assign by immediate superior from time to time.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Economics/CIT/Advanced Diploma in Logistics or equivalent;
2. Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field
3. Computer literate;
4. Business Communication;
5. Professional Negotiation Skills;
6. Mobility;
7. Market, Product & Industry knowledge.
