The Interface coordinator will coordinate and manage interfaces between multiple stakeholders, contractors, disciplines and project teams to ensure alignment of design, construction, schedule, technical requirements and site activities. Monitor interface issues, facilitate resolution through meetings and technical coordination and maintain interface registers and ensure timely closure of actions to support overall project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Managing interface registers and tracking systems
- Coordinating between adjacent contractors/packages
- Reviewing design and construction interfaces
- Organizing interface meetings and follow-ups
- Monitoring interface schedules and milestones
- Resolving clashes, access constraints and sequencing issues
- Supporting BIM/Interface model coordination
- Ensuring timely exchange of technical information and approvals
- Escalating critical interface risks/issues to management
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or any relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated, energetic, and a strong team player
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive, resourceful, and capable of effective problem-solving
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and project teams
- Good understanding of construction sequencing, technical coordination, and interface management processes
- Experience in infrastructure, tunnelling, aviation, or large-scale civil engineering projects will be an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with BIM coordination and document management systems is preferred
- Must be able to work in the East, 5.5 day work week
