Full Time Sales Executive – API (Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients) Division Jobs, in Unimed Sdn Bhd Kuala Lumpur - Maukerja

Job Description:

Candidate will be responsible for driving business growth in both local and international markets, focusing on API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient), excipients, intermediate or any other related products within the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and chemical industries. Additionally, the candidate will manage the sourcing of materials to meet customer-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and suppliers to foster business growth.
• Identify and generate a database of potential customers within the pharmaceutical industry (local and international), initiate communication, and schedule meetings as needed.
• Coordinate with logistics and inspection agencies to ensure seamless delivery and quality control of products.
• Oversee and manage all commercial documentation related to business transactions.
• Develop a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs in both local and international sectors to identify growth opportunities.

Technical Skills:

• Excellent communication skills with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
• Strong background in chemistry paired with business development expertise.
• Capability to handle sales pressure and meet targets effectively.
• Flexibility to manage varying work schedules, accommodating both local and international clients.
• Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia is mandatory.
• Advanced computer literacy, particularly in MS Office applications.
• Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and chemical industries.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans to enhance efficiency and profitability.
• Skilled in coordinating cross-functional objectives for seamless operations.

Functional Skills:

• Leverages analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and quick resolutions.
• Demonstrates innovative problem-solving, examining challenges from multiple perspectives.
• Ensures clarity in communications, logistics, and shipping documentation processes.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experiences in business development for pharmaceutical, cosmetic or chemical industries.
• Experience in local and / or international markets is highly desirable.
• Experience in API sales or related fields will be an added advantage.
