Read this fully before responding. We are looking for a particular kind of practitioner, and the bar is deliberate.


The opportunity


Mahat Advisory is expanding across ASEAN, and we are opening a small number of partner positions for coaches and trainers who have already done the work to become unmistakable in their field.


We are not hiring people to deliver someone else's curriculum. We are partnering with practitioners who have built their own, an original method, an original framework, a body of work that exists because they made it. If what you teach could be taught by anyone else with the same certificate, this is not the right post for you.


For the right person, the regional upside is real. ASEAN's leadership-development market is accelerating, and the practitioners who establish themselves now will own meaningful territory as it matures. This is a profit-sharing partnership, not a salaried role, you share in what you help build. The model is hybrid: engagements delivered in person and virtually across the region.


Who we are looking for (non-negotiable)
  • A genuinely original body of work. A method, framework, programme, or intellectual property that is yours. Not a re-badged standard module. Not a popular methodology you license. Yours. We will ask you to describe it, show it, and explain what only you can teach.
  • A recognised high-level credential. ICF PCC or MCC, EMCC Senior or Master Practitioner, a chartered or registered psychology designation, or equivalent professional-body standing. Weekend certificates do not meet the bar.
  • Minimum five years of practice at the level you would be coaching or training into. Coaching CEOs requires having operated with CEOs. Coaching boards requires having sat with boards. We can tell when this is real.
  • An open, flexible nature. ASEAN rewards practitioners who adapt, across cultures, formats, and clients — without losing the rigour of their craft. Rigidity does not survive contact with this region.


Why Mahat

You would be joining a firm whose engagements are anchored by senior practitioners with verified credentials, operating across ASEAN, the GCC, and ANZ. The work is real, the standard is high, and the regional runway is long. We do not add names for volume. We add the few who raise the bar.
