ABOUT THE COMPANY

Ocean wealth consultancy is a business consultancy firm providing a full suite of corporate and financial services to a diverse client base. We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage filing matters and serve as a key liaison between clients, accountancy firms, and secretarial teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting & Financial Reporting
  • Handle full sets of accounts for Singapore companies across various industries。
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly management accounts
  • Perform bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and financial data verification
  • Manage multi-currency and cross-border accounting transactions where applicable
  • Liaise with clients to collect accounting documents and supporting records
  • Coordinate with external auditors and accounting partners for year-end closing matters

Tax & Compliance

  • Prepare and submit GST returns, Estimated Chargeable income (ECl), and corporate tax filings
  • Support preparation of unaudited financial statements and tax schedules
  • Assist in personal income tax filing matters for directors and employees where required
  • Ensure compliance with IRAS and ACRA filing requirements

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Communicate professionally with clients, external accountants, tax agents, government agencies, and business partners
  • Handle client enquiries through email, messaging platforms, and calls
  • Follow up on outstanding documents and compliance matters

Corporate & Adhoc Support

  • Assist with work pass applications and renewals (EP/DP /LOC/etc.)
  • Support internal coordination with corporate secretarial teams
  • Handle adhoc operational and compliance-related assignments

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounts or finance
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and basic accounting processes
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks
  • Experience handling inter-company transactions
  • Prior experience supporting both accounting functions concurrently within a small or startup team

Work Arrangement

  • Office-based in Singapore, Monday to Friday, 2 days working-from-home policy
  • Compensation includes basic salary; details to be discussed at offer stage
  • Well-suited to a candidate who is comfortable working in a lean, start-up environment and willing to take ownership across multiple functions
