Summary of the job:

• Sourcing and strategies for freight and other logistics services rates from nationwide and also globally through current vendors and network, as a product for Sales to promote and grow. Ensuring profitability, sustainability, customer satisfaction, and providing solutions meeting their expectations as well as the company’s financial objective. To support initiatives by the Head of Freight Management Services, as time and environment warrant.
• Ensure maximum (optimal) utilization of resources to meet the customers’ (expectation) satisfaction and the Company’s goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordination and management of rate requests for freight, inland trucking, and other services from Sales/CRM
• Source and provide competitive rates to Sales/CRM
• Establish and maintain a list of vendors/networks to cater to logistics requirements locally and globally
• Monitor vendors’ performance and be responsible for ensuring vendors follow the company’s policies and operation process flow without failure.
• Participate and support third-party service provider selection
• To keep a record and track of all quotations provided to Sales/CRM
• Any other job assignments by the immediate superior from time to time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Economics/CIT/Advanced Diploma in Logistics or equivalent;
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in the related field
• Computer literate;
• Business Communication;
• Professional Negotiation Skills;
• Mobility;
• Market, Product & Industry knowledge.
