What We're Looking For

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Chef de Partie to support the daily operations of our Pastry/Bakery kitchen. This role is responsible for maintaining high food quality standards, supporting menu development, overseeing kitchen operations, and guiding junior team members in a fast-paced environment.

Role& Responsibilities

• Lead the Pastry/Bakery kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef or Sous Chef
• Guide and support junior kitchen team members in food preparation, line cooking, and plating standards
• Ensure proper FIFO and FEFO food rotation practices, with all products correctly labelled and stored
• Maintain well-stocked stations, especially during peak operating hours
• Assist in training new kitchen team members to meet restaurant and kitchen standards
• Manage food ordering, inventory records, and minimise wastage
• Work with existing systems to improve cost control and waste reduction
• Assist the Head Chef in Bakery & Pastry menu development and creation
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Follow all company policies, processes, and procedures
• Attend trainings and meetings as required

What You Bring

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Strong leadership skills with a positive team-player attitude
• Good planning and organizing skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Competent with Microsoft Office
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
