About Solace Wellbeing Group

Solace Wellbeing Group is one of Southeast Asia's most established mental health, rehabilitation, and wellbeing organisations, with operations across Malaysia, the Middle East, and beyond. Our portfolio spans residential rehabilitation, outpatient clinics, corporate wellness programmes, a digital health platform, and hospitality — with active operations in Malaysia, the GCC, and South Asia.

This year marks a pivotal moment for the group: we are transforming our existing hotel property into a Wellness Resort by Solace — Malaysia's first clinically-integrated wellness resort, where psychiatrists, psychologists, nutritionists, sleep specialists, and exercise physiologists work alongside a hospitality tea. Phase 1 wellness programmes commence 3 July 2026.


Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced hospitality professional to step into a hands-on, multi-site sales and hospitality leadership role across Solace Wellbeing Group's entities.

The successful candidate will embed themselves into each operation, learn how each run, and actively manage day-to-day hospitality and service delivery across the group while driving sales and revenue strategy for the resort.

This is a hands-on, on-the-ground role — not a strategy-from-the-tower position. You will spend time at each site, work closely with site leadership, and own the commercial outcomes that flow from hospitality excellence.


Key Responsibilities

Hotel Sales & Revenue Leadership (Primary Focus)

•    Design and execute the sales and revenue strategy for our upcoming hotel & wellness resort

•    Build and lead the resort's commercial function: outbound sales, digital marketing oversight, partnerships, reservations support

•    Own the wellness programme go-to-market — B2C bookings and B2B corporate wellness partnerships

•    Develop wholesale and OTA strategy; represent the property at trade fairs (MATTA, ITB Asia, ILTM)

•    Work alongside the General Manager to align commercial activity with on-property operations and guest experience

Multi-Site Hospitality Management

•    Embed into operations at our outpatient clinics, residential rehabilitation centre, and hotel & wellness resort

•    Learn each site's day-to-day operations deeply — admissions, scheduling, guest/patient journey, vendor management, and service delivery

•    Manage and optimise hospitality and service performance across these entities, working directly with site teams

•    Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and gaps in service quality

•    Build and maintain the hospitality rhythm across sites — reporting cadence, KPI tracking, escalation paths

Group Sales & Revenue Generation

•    Develop and execute revenue strategies

•    Build referral and partnership pipelines spanning insurers, GPs, psychiatrists, HR consultancies, corporate buyers, and travel partners

•    Lead key account management for high-value corporate and international clients

•    Cross-sell across the group portfolio where commercially appropriate (e.g. corporate EAP clients into wellness retreats, clinic patients into residential programmes)

Cross-Functional Leadership

•    Partner with clinical leadership to ensure commercial messaging is medically accurate and ethically sound

•    Coordinate with the Solace Wellbeing Group strategy and marketing functions on shared assets, campaigns, and brand stewardship

•    Report directly into the Head of Strategy & Business Development on commercial performance and hospitality service standards


Required Qualifications

•    Minimum 5 years in hotel sales or commercial/operational leadership

•    Hotel / hospitality industry experience is essential. Candidates without hotel-specific experience will not be considered.

•    Demonstrated ability to design and execute sales and revenue strategies for a hotel property

•    Proven experience across outbound/B2B sales

•    Bachelor's or postgraduate qualification in Hospitality Management or Business.

•    Strong hospitality and service instincts — willingness to roll up sleeves and engage with day-to-day operations across multiple sites

•    Excellent written and verbal English; ability to lead client-facing presentations to senior stakeholders

•    Legal rights to work in Malaysia


Preferred (Added Advantages)

•    Proficiency in CRM and performance marketing platforms (Salesforce / HubSpot, Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, GA4)

•    MBA

•    International / foreign work experience — particularly in the GCC, Europe, or established wellness markets (e.g. Thailand, Bali, Switzerland)

•    Experience launching a new property, new programme, or new product line

•    Background with wellness, medical tourism, luxury, or lifestyle hotel brands (Six Senses, COMO Shambhala, Kamalaya, Chiva-Som, Aman, and similar)

•    Multi-site or multi-property hospitality exposure

•    Existing network of corporate wellness buyers, insurers, or travel trade contacts
