Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer (L2) with a strong data center networking background and exposure to Operational Technology (OT) environments. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing our enterprise and OT network infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime, performance, and security.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Fortinet, Cisco, and Ruckus devices and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
• Administer and support Cisco network devices – switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Deploy and maintain Ruckus wireless solutions (controllers and access points).
• Support data center network operations — including routing, switching, and interconnectivity between core systems.
• Work with OT systems and networks, ensuring secure integration between IT and OT infrastructure.
• Perform L2- L3-level troubleshooting, incident resolution, and escalation to L3 where needed.
• Implement and document network changes, upgrades, and configurations.
• Ensure network compliance and security policies are enforced.
• Conduct performance monitoring and proactive issue identification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in on-call support rotation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
• 4– 10 years of hands-on experience in network operations or data center environments.
• Strong experience with:
• Fortinet (FortiGate, Forti Manager, FortiAnalyzer)
• Cisco (routers, switches, ASA/Firepower)
• Ruckus (Zone Director / SmartZone controllers, access points)
• In-depth understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, QoS, etc.)
• In-depth understanding of segmented network architecture, hardened network device.
• Familiarity with IT and OT networks and industrial communication protocols (including MQTT)
• Working knowledge of VPN, IPsec, SD-WAN, and Firewall policies.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications:

Fortinet NSE 4/5/6 (preferred)

Cisco CCNA / CCNP

Ruckus Certified Wireless Engineer (RCWE)

Data Center-related certifications (e.g., DCNID, DCNP)

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and within a team

Proactive and detail-oriented approach

Ability to work under pressure in mission-critical environments
