Account Specialist

Location: First Avenue, Petaling Jaya

Salary: RM3,500 – RM3,900

Food Allowance: RM250

Job Responsibilities

• Handle general ledger activities in RTR

• Prepare, maintain, and reconcile ledger accounts and financial statements

• Prepare and post journal entries

• Manage month-end closing activities

• Perform daily reconciliation between payment gateway and bank statements

• Prepare settlement reports and journal workings

• Support audit requests related to general ledger activities

• Ensure accounting entries are accurate and completed on time

• Work closely with stakeholders and internal teams to resolve issues

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and clear discrepancies promptly

• Complete assigned balance sheet accounts in within timeline

• Support process improvement initiatives and UAT testing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA)

• Minimum 2 years of related working experience (RTR experience preferred)

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in RTR processes

• Familiar with SAP or Oracle systems

• Strong accounting and reconciliation skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure

• Team player with a continuous improvement mindset

• Good written and spoken English
