The group of companies is an innovative technology company specializing in advanced AI manufacturing, including robotics, drone systems, intelligent automation and machine vision solution. In collaboration with a Malaysian partner and with support from the state government, they have established production facilities in Batu Kawan, Penang. As part of their expansion, they are inviting experienced engineers to join the team, with overseas training opportunities provided for those new to the field. Responsibilities：

• Algorithm Development: Design, develop, and implement computer vision algorithms for industrial applications, focusing on feature extraction, pattern recognition, and image analysis.
• System Optimization: Utilize Halcon and other image processing tools to optimize existing vision algorithms, improving accuracy, recall, and inference speed.
• Vision System Deployment: Handle installation, configuration, and fine-tuning of vision inspection systems at both factory and customer sites.
• Technical Support & Training: Provide on-site and remote technical support, troubleshooting, and user training to ensure optimal system performance.
• Project Involvement: Participate in end-to-end project execution, including testing, validation, and continuous improvement of vision solutions.
• Travel Requirement: Willing to travel overseas for project deployment, commissioning, and customer support.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Algorithm Design Engineering (ADE), preferably in industrial image processing (senior candidates with 5+ years are encouraged to apply).
• Proficienct in Halcon and general image processing techniques.
• Experience in industrial vision applications, including segmentation, object detection, and defect inspection.
• Knowledge in machine vision systems and automation technologies.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, C#, or Python is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
