Role Overview
The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process to attract, source, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates. This role plays a critical part in building strong talent pipelines, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and supporting the organization’s overall hiring strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and define job requirements.
- Develop and post job descriptions on job boards, social media, and company career sites.
- Source candidates using databases, professional networks, referrals, and headhunting techniques.
- Screen resumes and applications, shortlist candidates, and conduct initial interviews.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Administer pre-employment assessments where required.
- Maintain candidate databases and track recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire).
- Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience throughout the process.
- Negotiate job offers and collaborate with HR on onboarding activities.
- Stay updated with recruitment trends, labour market conditions, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a recruiter, HR officer, or talent acquisition specialist.
- Familiarity with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of labour laws and recruitment best practices.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
