About the role

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd', a leading provider of innovative imaging and IT solutions, is seeking an exceptional IT Team Lead (Helpdesk) to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a contract position that will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating our IT helpdesk operations, ensuring seamless service delivery to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT helpdesk team, ensuring efficient and timely resolution of user requests and issues
  • Coordinate and prioritize incoming support tickets, delegating tasks to team members based on their expertise and availability
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the helpdesk team, helping them enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Implement and continuously improve helpdesk processes and procedures to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex IT-related problems and implement long-term solutions
  • Generate and analyse performance reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries and escalations from clients and internal stakeholders

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT helpdesk or support role, with a proven track record of leading and managing a team
  • Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills across a range of hardware, software, and network technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a customer-centric approach
  • Experience in implementing and optimizing helpdesk processes and procedures
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) would be an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
