Operating Partner Programme — Upsilon Family
Upsilon Family is a global Multi-Single-Family Office (MSFO) delivering integrated Family Office, Business Advisory, and Asset Management solutions to an international client base, supported by hubs in New York, London, and Kuala Lumpur and a global footprint spanning the Americas, EMEA, and Asia. Our Family Office platform delivers comprehensive Single-Family-Office infrastructure and coordination on behalf of the family as principal, spanning financial needs — investments, portfolio management, risk, liquidity planning, tax, estate planning, treasury, banking relationships, currency management, and consolidated reporting — and non-financial needs — governance, succession, next-generation education, family constitution, conflict resolution, philanthropy, and lifestyle management. Our Business Advisory practice provides strategic advisory services across corporate finance, legal advisory, marketing strategy, and venture building, supporting capital formation, operational development, and long-term value creation. Our Asset Management platform focuses on alternative investment strategies across private markets, real assets, hedge funds, opportunistic investments, and digital assets, with an emphasis on diversification, risk management, and absolute return generation.
PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION:
The Operating Partner Programme provides a framework through which Upsilon Family collaborates with experienced professionals in the development of client relationships, advisory engagements, and investment opportunities aligned with the firm's activities. Operating Partners are expected to leverage their professional networks to originate and introduce opportunities relevant to the firm's platform — including client relationships, advisory engagements, investment opportunities, or strategic partnerships across the firm's Family Office, Business Advisory, and Asset Management activities.
Operating Partners may also contribute, where appropriate, to the development, structuring, and execution of such opportunities. This may include hands-on participation in delivery and implementation, customer success and engagement oversight, and knowledge sharing across strategic, financial, and operational disciplines.
Participation is non-exclusive and opportunity-driven. The firm does not allocate opportunities; involvement typically arises from opportunities introduced by the Operating Partner or through selective collaboration on specific initiatives.
Operating Partners should be aware that opportunities arising through or in connection with the Programme are subject to the firm's opportunity presentation and non-circumvention obligations, as set out in the applicable engagement agreement.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will possess substantial professional experience, sound commercial judgement, and a well-established professional network relevant to Upsilon Family's activities. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to originate opportunities through their network, as well as the capability to contribute to execution and delivery of such initiatives where required.
Relevant backgrounds may include entrepreneurship, venture capital, private equity, investment banking, management consulting, corporate strategy, family office advisory, or senior leadership within growth-oriented organisations. Candidates are expected to demonstrate intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking, execution discipline, and a collaborative approach to advisory, venture development, investment, and operational activities.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCE: Entrepreneurship, venture capital, private equity, investment banking, consulting, corporate strategy, family office advisory, or relevant leadership roles.
NETWORK: Established network across founders, investors, entrepreneurial families, corporate leaders, or relevant industry ecosystems.
STRATEGIC CAPABILITIES: Ability to contribute strategic insight across venture development, investment opportunities, corporate finance, or advisory engagements.
DELIVERY CAPABILITIES: Ability to participate in hands-on execution, program and initiative management, customer success oversight, and implementation of agreed strategies and mandates.
KNOWLEDGE CONTRIBUTION: Willingness and ability to share frameworks, best practices, and domain expertise to support capability development across engagements.
SKILLS (AI): Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and large language models (LLMs) applied to research, strategic analysis, and professional workflows.
SKILLS (IT): Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
LANGUAGES: Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
KEY DETAILS:
POSITION: Independent Contractor — Operating Partner
ENGAGEMENT STRUCTURE: Flexible, opportunity-based collaboration aligned with specific initiatives, transactions, or advisory mandates. Active participation in execution and delivery is expected once mandates are confirmed, commensurate with the nature and scope of each engagement.
WORK SETTING: Remote-based with global collaboration.
COMPENSATION: Where applicable, compensation may arise in connection with specific engagements, introductions, transactions, or investment opportunities and will be determined separately in accordance with applicable agreements.
RELATIONSHIP STRUCTURE: Operating Partners participate strictly as independent contractors with no authority to bind Upsilon Family unless expressly authorised in writing. All opportunities arising through the Programme are subject to the firm's opportunity presentation and non-circumvention obligations as set out in the applicable engagement agreement.
