Our consumer products group, Tissues International, is rapidly growing, and we are seeking a dedicated Area Sales Manager to join us for Malaysia market.

Role Summary:

The Area Sales Manager (Modern Trade & Key Account Channel) drives business revenue across all major retail channels and key accounts. This role need hands-on experience in FMCG retail operations, merchandising, and distributor management.


Key Responsibilities :-

  • Territory & Channel Sales Growth: Drive revenue within the assigned territory and channel by executing sales plans, achieving targets, and expanding distribution coverage. Strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail outlets.
  • Execution Excellence: Ensure effective in-market execution, including product availability, visibility, promotions, and pricing across assigned channels.
  • Distributor & Customer Management: Manage and develop distributor performance, ensure alignment with company objectives, and build strong relationships with key channel partners and customers.
  • Channel & Marketing Alignment: Coordinate with marketing teams to implement channel-specific activities, campaigns, and promotions effectively in the assigned area.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with supply chain and internal teams to ensure product availability and smooth operations within the territory.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales data, outlet performance, and market trends within the territory to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.


Requirement :-

  • Proven 8 years experience within MT channel will be desirable
  • Ability to lead distributor sales team to perform distribution expansion, NPD Listing, Commercial Negotiations with troubleshooting skillset.
  • Self-starter, proactive and resilient and excellent communication, and relationship building skills essential.
  • Preferably someone can start with any distribution project of new brand/new categories
