Job Description
Assist in wastewater plant system line setup, startup/shutdown, and daily operations
Support supervisor and operations team in preparing wastes for daily treatment
Perform loading/unloading operations in the receiving area
Conduct field rounds of pumps, blowers, mixers, and report abnormal sounds, vibrations, or leaks
Monitor and control pH levels in mixing and neutralization tanks, including the pH control system
Refill chemicals into storage tanks/containers as required
Pump sludge from clarifier sludge holding tank to filter press
Assist in carbon replacement operations
Maintain housekeeping standards within the plant
Requirements
Physically fit, enthusiastic, and motivated individual
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Basic English communication skills (spoken and written)
Adherence to ESH (Environment, Safety, and Health) rules and regulations
Minimum 1 year of operational experience
Valid AWSHPP and forklift driving license preferred
