Job Description

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager / Manager, Oncology Value, Access & Pricing will lead the development and execution of value, pricing and market access strategies for the company’s oncology portfolio in Singapore. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for a talent who can shape access strategy across the product lifecycle, translate clinical and economic evidence into compelling payer value propositions, and partner cross-functionally to enable timely, sustainable patient access.

The role serves as the key local lead for oncology access matters, spanning HTA submissions, evidence generation, pricing strategy, policy monitoring, tender excellence and innovative access solutions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Lead end-to-end local value, access and pricing strategy for the oncology portfolio, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, lifecycle priorities and business goals.

- Develop stakeholder-specific value narratives and access strategies for payers, policymakers, providers, institutions and other healthcare ecosystem partners.

- Drive HEOR and evidence generation planning, including budget impact models, cost-effectiveness inputs, value dossier localization, scenario analyses and local evidence requirements to support reimbursement and listing submissions.

- Partner closely with medical, commercial, regulatory, finance, global and regional market access teams to build integrated access strategies and deliver differentiated value propositions for oncology assets.

- Identify, assess and implement innovative access and funding solutions, including patient access initiatives and partnership models, where appropriate to expand patient reach.

- Monitor changes in healthcare policy, reimbursement frameworks, HTA requirements and competitor access dynamics, and translate insights into clear strategic recommendations for internal stakeholders.

- Provide robust access, pricing and reimbursement insights to senior management, including opportunity/risk assessments, scenario planning and portfolio implications.

- Represent value, access and pricing in portfolio planning, launch readiness and long-range business planning to ensure early integration of payer and funding considerations.

- Engage appropriately with external stakeholders, including relevant authorities, industry bodies and policy forums, to understand the evolving access environment and help shape enabling conditions for oncology innovation.

- Collaborate with patient groups, clinical experts and relevant external partners to gather insights on unmet need, treatment pathways and access barriers in oncology.

- Own and drive priority access projects and submissions with a high degree of independence, ensuring quality, compliance and timely execution.

- Lead pricing and tender-related activities, including pricing scenario analysis, governance, negotiation preparation and risk assessment, to optimize both access and value realization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Public Health, Health Economics, Epidemiology or a related discipline; postgraduate training in health economics, public health or business is an advantage.

- 5–8+ years of relevant experience in market access, pricing, reimbursement, HEOR or related strategic roles within the pharmaceutical industry, with sufficient seniority to operate as an independent contributor.

- Strong understanding of Singapore’s healthcare system, funding pathways, payer and institutional decision-making processes, and the evolving market access landscape for innovative medicines.

- Hands-on experience in HTA/reimbursement submissions, value dossier development, evidence generation, pricing strategy and/or patient access program design.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect clinical value, economic evidence and access strategy to portfolio and commercial decisions.

- Excellent strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, analytical and negotiation skills, with confidence in influencing senior cross-functional partners.

- Ability to manage multiple complex priorities and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions while taking strong personal ownership and initiative as an individual contributor.

- Experience across above-market, regional or global access/pricing projects, with the ability to translate broader insights into local strategy.

- Oncology therapy area experience, including understanding of treatment pathways, biomarker-driven care and the complexity of access for innovative cancer therapies.

- Experience working with external partners, consultants, alliances or multi-stakeholder collaborations to advance access objectives.

- Exposure to other HTA or payer markets (for example Australia, UK or selected APAC markets) and familiarity with global/regional evidence expectations and access frameworks.
