About the Role This is a full-time System Engineer position based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex systems to support KROHNE (M) Sdn Bhd's business objectives. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the company’s systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Your main responsibilities:

• Interest and knowledge about the Oil & Gas industry and particular Custody Transfer Metering and associated supervisory systems
• Strong knowledge and experience with; PLC and SCADA software, flow computer, computer systems/networking, field instrumentation, and communication protocols
• Software programming skill in general
• Knowledge of Custody Transfer standards and guidelines like; ISO, AGA, API, OIML
• Strong communication skill with a focus on priorities and result
• Accuracy of work produced is fundamental to the success of this position
• Knowledge of custody transfer products
• Strong communication skill with a focus on priorities and result
• Both technical and commercial awareness with a Flexible and Pro-active attitude
• To assist at all times the company achieve its dedicated aim of “Best Practice”
• To ensure all work and tasks are carried out in accordance with the Companies ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 QHSE Procedures

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor in Mechatronic / Automation / Electronics / Computer System Engineering.
• 3 years' experience in System Engineering
• Experience in flow computer, SCADA, PLC, DCS, Control System will be an advantage and flow computers and metering systems (preferred)
• Competence in functional design specification, system architecture, and software engineering 
• Industrial communication protocols and networking
• Exposure to Oil & Gas industry or custody transfer systems is an advantage
• Understanding of software programming principles
