Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas for easy retrieval and access.
- Issue materials and products based on authorized requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and prepare procurement requests when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock movements, and deliveries.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of goods to prevent damage or loss.
- Conduct regular stock-taking and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
- Keep the store area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with the procurement, logistics, and finance departments.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged items, or shortages to the supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in inventory or logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Store Keeper, Inventory Clerk, or similar role.
- Knowledge of inventory software (e.g.SQL, QNE, Autocount or similar systems).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word).
- Physical stamina and ability to lift moderately heavy items if required.
- Possession driving license (CDL, GDL) & CIDB will be advantage.
